Patient Assessment

At Infinity Orthotic Centre we place a high value on conducting a thorough patient assessment and take the time to fully understand the nature of the presenting symptoms and the patient’s lifestyle including work environment (time spent on feet), recreational activity level and commonly worn footwear styles.

Be Prepared,

To help your Pedorthist, we ask that you bring the following to your initial assessment:

9

bring 2-3 pairs of regularly worn footwear (work, home, sport, leisure) so we can see the type of footwear commonly worn and the wear patterns on the soles

9

bring or wear a pair of shorts so the Pedorthist can easily see leg alignment

9

bring your Doctors prescription/referral if you have one (not required) and any relevant medical documentation......

Your time is valuable. We strongly recommend you book an appointment to ensure one of our Certified Pedorthists are available to complete a thorough assessment.

Your Pedorthist will:

9

take a detailed patient history

9

conduct a hands-on range of motion examination of the foot/ankle

9

conduct a series of standing range of motion tests

9

conduct a walking gait analysis

9

evaluate current footwear

9
